A montage of shots of a Wilson's Snipe "winnowing" over his wetland territory. As the snipe flies in broad circles high overhead, air rushing through the specialized tail feathers produces an eerie, tremulous sound that can be heard from a good distance away. Photographed at Bill Mason Centre in Dunrobin.
