A Snowshoe Hare at Hilda Road in Shirley's Bay. The platform bird feeders here often coax this normally-shy hare out into the open to feed, especially in the early morning. Snowshoe Hares are brown for much of the year, but turn white in winter to better camouflage against the snowy landscape.
